miserable, then instead of being a helpless victim, you have

place where you decide to let go of the old, painful
pattern and replace it with something that works better for

point is you've been using your patterns of thought and behavior

A
little about my background:
I was pretty much afraid of everything.
I was always the shy anxious kid, the sensitive,
thin skinned one who always hesitated before
doing anything. You name it, my fear and
internal resistance kept me miserable. I
tried everything from therapy to
motivational cassettes. Nothing seemed to
work until I discovered the secrets I'll
share with you soon.
I cured my own
shyness in moments. Seriously.
Some of my other long
term patterns of self sabotage took a bit
longer but within a relatively short time of
earnestly applying all the tools I will be
teaching you, I was loving my life and
work and living to the fullest.
One
of my biggest challenges was somehow finding
a way to get my 400 or so original songs out
of my living room and into the ears and
hearts of people who could appreciate and
benefit from them. For 30 years I basically
kept my music under wraps and it was painful.
It was excruciating to perform and
excruciating to not perform. It was
frustrating and agonizing to sabotage myself
every time I tried to go for my dream. Some
mysterious internal force just kept stopping
me. If I did have a performance I usually
made myself sick. If I did get up the
courage to send my songs to a record company
or club, I never followed up.
Another challenge was with dating and
relationships...and money...and certain
health issues...
Anyway I think you get the
idea.
